Market Street Clinic has updated its Doppler with a new Ultra Tec PD1v doppler for assessing the health of patients arteries.For use in assessing and monitoring the blood flow to the lower limbs on Diabetic and elderly patients.

The UltraTec PD1v is a small, lightweight, high sensitivity, specialist pocket Doppler for use in Nursing and Residential homes, to assess and monitor vascular conditions. The 8MHz probe covers most common arterial and venous applications.

Particularly for use on Diabetic and high risk patients and other patients who have foot pathologies, such as foot ulcers.

Vascular flow signals are easily located using the narrow beam high sensitivity flat probe while internal signal processing minimises the noise artefacts. The flow signal is available to the user via the built in loudspeaker.

Manufactured by British based manufacturers, Ultrasound Technologies the PD1v meets all current EEC standards for medical equipment.
